We intake children all year round so parents can apply at any time. We take children once they have turned three years of age, however we do have a small number of spaces for children aged 2 1/2, so please enquire. Once children turn 5 years old their place will be reviewed and will be subject to availability. We are only permitted to have a small number of places for over 5’s. Admission is by application form only and will be considered once you have attended an open day or a 1:1 meeting with the Teacher. When we receive your application form and half of the deposit, the Teacher will consult with the Board of Trustees and then a final decision will be made on whether a place can be offered to your child based on availability and ratios. If you would like to register your child with us now, please download our application form. Please read our information on fees and finance. For all enquiries regarding admissions to the Kindergarten please contact Kelly Harries on 07722102327 or email laurelfarmenquiries@gmail.com.

Increase to Free Funded Hours (EYFE)

The Kindergarten confirmed to offer the 30 hour funding scheme Parents and carers will need to meet the eligibility criteria for the offer – that is, all parents in the household working the equivalent of 16 hours a week at the national minimum or living wage up to a maximum salary of £100,000 a year per individual. Parents do not necessarily need to actually work 16 hours a week, but their earnings must reflect at least 16 hours of work at National Minimum Wage or National Living Wage; this includes those on zero-hour contracts who meet the criteria. This scheme is different to the current free childcare scheme which is open to everyone. The current 15 hour per week offer will still be open to parents and carers regardless of income, it’s just the extra 15 hours which have to meet the criteria. We can also accept 2-year-old funding and tax-free childcare vouchers.
